About the Traveller The Fort Lee Traveller is an authorized publication for members of the U.S. Army. Contents of the Fort Lee Traveller are not necessarily official views of, or endorsed by, the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Department of the Army or Fort Lee. The Fort Lee Traveller is a weekly newspaper serving the Fort Lee community since 1941. Everything advertised in this publication shall be made available for purchase, use or patronage without regard to race, color religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, physical handicap, political affiliation or any other nonmerit factor of the purchaser, user or patron. If a violation or rejection of this opportunity policy by an advertiser is confirmed, the printer shall refuse to print advertising from that source until the violation is corrected. All editorial content of the Fort Lee Traveller is prepared, edited, provided and approved by the Fort Lee Public Affairs Office. The Fort Lee “Traveller” accepts signed Letters to the Editor that include the writer’s daytime phone number. Letters are subject to editing. The Fort Lee Traveller is printed by Military Newspapers of Virginia, a private firm in no way connected with the Department of the Army, under exclusive written contract with Fort Lee.
